Overall Satisfaction with Google Drive
We use Google Drive as a document storage and collaboration platform. We edit and update status call documents, monthly and quarterly reports, and other documents. We also use Google Drive integrated with Basecamp to create and track open job numbers and the status of open projects. Given that we have staff in multiple sites, real-time collaboration and same-time editing of documents are critical.
- Real-time sharing and document collaboration.
- It's intuitive and easy to use.
- It has the ability to take Microsoft office suite documents created offline and convert them to cloud versions that can be edited collaboratively.
- File navigation can be confusing, especially with documents that have been shared with you vs ones in your own drive.
- It saves us time in the creation of documents when multiple people are involved.
- It removes the need to have multiple revisions of the same file.
- It removes the need to consolidate comments/edits from multiple people in multiple files.
Since it's part of the Google family of products, you don't need to create a separate account.
