Google Drive is mostly used for file sharing. We use it within the department; the accessibility is easy and fast, and that's the reason it's recommended.

OneDrive, MS SharePoint and OneNote

Microsoft products within the organization have a limitation to use domain email IDs. But with Google is actually fast. Just create a link and share. Storage and upload is also nice and easy.

Because of its high availability, use across devices, and easy user interface.

Google is fast in responding. Actually, I never had a need to raise any tickets to Google for Drive but I have reached out to them for issues related to payment. And overall my satisfaction level is high.
