Overall Satisfaction with Google Drive
Our organization has used Google Drive for more than 5 years, within which a series of problems have been solved. Thanks to the collaborative environment, the dependencies and all their members can save, edit and share information in real-time, optimizing the work of these areas. Regarding my work area as NOC Support, I can say that this tool serves to share:
Staff assistance networks
Manual troubleshooting of cases
Technical specification manuals
All this information is accessible by our work team and according to the editable profile to update new processes, all this is reflected in the improvement of the failure analysis to our clients.
- Powerful compatibility with files of various extensions (audio: wav, mp3 - video: MPEG4, AVI - image: bmp, png, jpeg) and even with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word files
- Accessibility from any device with [an] internet connection regardless of the geographical area where you are
- The most determining point of this platform that makes it extremely useful is collaboration. It is so easy to share files by just giving 1 click and choosing the person we want to add either for viewing only or for editing the file.
- Advanced File Search, personally I find it uncomfortable to search for files with specific extensions within my drive in Google Drive, the interface is not very clear and the search options are limited, making this work tedious.
- In applications like Google Sheets, the number of cells is extremely small, which limits the amount of information that can be saved, this makes the tool focus on small files.
- Inherited permissions, it happens to me that in certain shared files when analyzing the permissions granted to the participants some of them are left with owner permissions without having given such property, that point is confusing so I would like the interface to be clearer.
- Publication of process manuals and troubleshooting
- Compilation of Classification of Failures through Google Forms and later the quantification and analysis of the same depending on their nature
- Organization and publication of shift mesh and its sizing to notify the workgroup, these being synchronized to the Google Calendar.
- Shorter response time for resolving failures of our clients
- Greater reliability of our clients towards technical support and troubleshooting in first contact

I honestly chose Google Drive because it offers features that first draw our attention to users and are: ease of use, intuitive, adjusts to particular needs and above all the storage in its free version surpasses other similar platforms, in addition to that. No specific training is needed for anyone to start using it and getting the most out of it.
