Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Google Forms are being used in our company to gather feedback and complete surveys for campus visitors.

Pros and Cons

Easy to use.
Customizable to your needs.
Ability to collect data and export [it] into Google Sheets or Excel.

Need the ability to make the forms more attractive and customizable esthetically to match your brand.

Return on Investment

Google Forms has easily allowed us to survey our constituents for simple matters with no additional cost.
Google Forms has been used internally to gather feedback or for voting for awards.
Google Forms [allow] us to survey visitors to campus during COVID in an effective manner at no additional cost.

Alternatives Considered

SurveyMonkey

Previously I have used SurveyMonkey, a paid survey program, for similar tasks that we can perform with Google Forms for free. For the level of use we had, Google Forms made more sense.

Usability

Google Forms meets our needs and is a flexible tool that comes in the Google Suite of products we use.

Support Rating

I have not had any issues with Google Forms.

Good for gathering feedback in surveys or registering for events.
Good for repeated use or updated use where surveys are taken again or on a scheduled basis.
Easy for an organization to use internally or externally
Security is sufficient but I would not collect extremely sensitive data via forms.
