Overall Satisfaction with Google Forms
Google Forms is a very simple way to collect data through an easily customizable form (think surveys, requests, applications, voting on different things - there are lots of use cases that pop up daily). It is used across the organization as a part of GSuite. Without Google Forms, there would be a lot of manual data compilation necessary.
- Easy to use both as the person creating the form and completing the form
- Easy to collaborate on the form with other GSuite users
- Easy to share the results
- Google Forms doesn't allow you to do much with formatting easily (i.e., bold certain parts of your question, put in nice looking links.)
- Google Forms doesn't have as many advanced analytic features as a SurveyMonkey for instance; however it is nice for just needing the basics.
- Democratized access to creating forms quickly across the company; no bottlenecks because everyone can do it!
We did not examine other alternatives because Google Forms came with GSuite, which we were already using company-wide. I have, in the past, also used SurveyMonkey and Wufoo Forms.
