Overall Satisfaction with Google Hangouts
Many of our employees work remotely. We use Google Hangout for one-on-one, small group and large group calls. Our entire organization uses Google Hangouts, along with all other Google Apps functionality. We have team members all over the country, Google Apps is a great, easy to use communication tool for us all to connect.
- Screen sharing. Screen sharing is easy and intuitive in Google Hangouts.
- Multiple users on the same call. I have never seen a limit for the number of people who can join a hangout.
- Part of the Google Apps suite. If you are a Google Apps user, using Hangouts is a no brainer and an easy way to do video calls and screen sharing.
- Speaker and Mic problems. Sometimes when a caller joins, they can not hear the audio, or their mic is not able to pick up their voice. It can be difficult to figure this issue out sometimes. Many times, it works perfectly with no problems.
- If you invite someone from outside of your Google Apps organization, you have to be sure you set the sharing permissions correctly so that the outside person can join the call. Sometimes this is confusing.
- Google Hangouts is a very inexpensive way for remote teams to interact. I can't imagine my work life now without it!
