Use Cases and Deployment Scope

GoTo Meeting is a reliable video conferencing platform. I have used it for smaller meetings and also larger whole training sessions. There are a lot of new, less expensive options that seem to be popping up daily. While we use many different platforms, GoTo Meeting is a feature-packed and, most importantly, reliable and tested system.

Google Meet, Zoom and Skype

All of these options are all very similar to GoTo Meeting. They all work very well for enterprise-size applications to fill different needs such as 2-person calls, training sessions or larger-scale webinars. When coordinating a meeting with multiple speakers, we would usually ask other speakers if they have a preference. This way, they are familiar with the interface.

While there are less costly alternatives available, I would recommend GoTo Meeting over the other options when communications may be more critical such as an important presentation or sales calls. GoTo Meeting has been around for a long time and has many features, but the features offered tend to be standard options with many of the new products.
