Overall Satisfaction

At SMS, we used GoToMeeting for our bi-weekly sales meetings where we discussed new products, opportunities, had trainings and more. It was used mainly by the sales department to conduct these conference calls with all of our team members from around the US and with our international teams. It saved us the hassle having to conduct individual calls with each of the different branches.
  • GoToMeeting makes setting up the conference call extremely easy. Compared to some of the other platforms I've used, it's been one of the easiest.
  • It is easy for the attendees to accept and log into the call. Everything that is needed it laid out for you. Makes it fool-proof for those who may not be the most technical
  • The quality of the sound and pictures is outstanding. I've been on webinars and calls with other platforms and I've seen bad call quality and the images were blurry. Never had that problem with GoToMeeting
  • I'd like to see the ability to perform streaming video. It's one thing to talk into a phone, but video conferencing would be outstanding.
  • It has definitely allowed us to communicate better with the entire sales organization
  • Has made rolling out new programs, products or practices much easier as we only need to perform one call for the organization to keep everyone on the same page

GoToMeeting is very similar to the other options we reviewed. I found that setting up webinars was easier with GoToMeeting than it was with any of the other platforms. I didn't have to go through a long set up form. It was very straightforward, easy to fill out and set up and easy to execute on the actual day.
Decision was not up to me but I would recommend it to those who were the decision makers. I am more of an influencer with this decision as opposed to an actual decision maker. I would tell those who make the final choice that it is easiest to use compared to our other options and seems to give the best results with the end product.
Best suited for large organizations or marketing departments who conduct outbound marketing activities like webinars. It seems to be the standard in the digital marketing field for webinars, and most people who would attend are familiar with the platform so you would avoid any potential confusion with log in or registrations.
