Overall Satisfaction

I currently use GoToMeetings multiple times a day to share files with my properties so we can make sure we are on the same page. All of the other revenue managers in our organization also use this, in addition to the sales and marketing departments who have similar responsibilities.

  • Can use recurring meetings for ease each week
  • Sometimes the dial in numbers have been busy
  • Some users have issues with the application not downloading or downloading every week
  • Randomly there are sounds on the line and a gotomeeting voice appears in the middle of a meeting for about 3 seconds

  • Improved understanding by viewers
The only meetings I have ever actually ran myself are gotomeetings because my predecessors used it and I was familiar with the product so it was an easy transition. As a user I have seen some of the WebEx webinars however I don't like that you have to pre-register for them.
I give it an 8 only because I had to take a way a couple of points for the download issues users have had, the busy signals the users or myself randomly get when trying to dial in (so I have to start a new meeting and resend access info), and then also sometimes it tells the users it is downloading or starting and they sit there forever and nothing happens.
I do enjoy gotomeeting and can't imagine doing my job without it. However, I do know there is a max number of attendees so you may want to confirm you have the correct version when purchasing if you are going to be speaking with very large groups. I do a lot of one on ones or with meetings of less than 5 people.
