Overall Satisfaction with GoToWebinar

From all perspectives, this platform is very intuitive.
We use GoToWebinar to offer professional development sessions for our customers in the real estate industry.

Pros

  • Login for customers is simple and straightforward - no additional passwords like some software requires.
  • Administering a large crowd is simple -- ability to mute all attendees at once.
  • Polling feature is an added bonus - easy to deploy and track responses.

Cons

  • Chat feature for attendees could be better - allowing them to network with each other and not just chat with the presenter.
  • Recording when using a web cam isn't great.
iLinc has inferior VoiP and we ended up paying for a conference line backup for our customers - got pricey. Adobe has a large learning curve - both for administrators and presenters, and isn't the most user-friendly for attendees either.
We offer webinars for "state credit" and for "information only". GoToWebinar is great for the info only events. When we need to track details for credit events, we use alternate software.
