Overall Satisfaction with GoToWebinar

The product is extremely easy to use. You can start casting with almost 1 click and you can do it with a mobile app as well. I strongly recommend it.
GoToWebinar is used across the whole organization but mainly by the product and marketing teams. We use it to record and host webinars explaining our products to our customers as well as use it as customers to get trained or watch recordings done by our suppliers. The technology works well and it's easy to use.

  • Ability to do polls on the webinar increases participation and engagement.
  • Easy to use.
  • Cost is a bit high compared to alternatives.
  • Reporting lacks clarity, should be more granular.
  • No e-mail support, only by phone.
I would day the biggest disadvantage that GoToWebinar has against Zoom is that with GoToWebinar you need to download and install a piece of software and with Zoom that is not needed. However, the latency issues are almost nonexistent on GoToWebinar whereas in Zoom I have found a lot of problems.
GoToWebinar works great for recording and distributing webinars for a small or big group of people. It's very easy to use, you just need one click to start. There is no particular use case that works since the set up is minimal. As small issues like logos are not customizable enough, I would advise against using it to brand your own company.
