Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

I am an employee who uses Gusto to clock in/out, view my paycheck, and add vacation requests. I use Gusto four times a day: once to clock in, another to add a lunch break/clock out of a break, and again to clock out at the end of the day. My vacation requests are also submitted through Gusto.

Pros

  • Time tracking.
  • Paycheck breakdown.
  • Employer holiday tracking.

Cons

  • Logging in is burdensome- constantly putting in the password is irritating and a waste of time.
  • Sometimes the GPS is not accurate or lags.
  • the paycheck preview doesn't give useful information.
  • Great at extracting types of hours worked.
  • Great at displaying types of holidays and holiday hours.
  • Shows employee pay grade.
It has a simple design and doesn't have extra burdensome features that can be confusing or useful. The colors and layout are very direct and display only what is necessary without clogging up the feed.
I have not used any other interface.

I think Gusto is excellent for timesheets, especially if you operate in a way that requires employers to have a time stamp to clock in and out of work. The app is clear and easy to use and isn't bogged down with extra features that no one will really use. I think it is least useful for salaried individuals who don't need to track all breaks and such.
