Gusto is good but with some improvment it could be GREAT!

Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

We use Gusto for clocking in and clocking out, benefits election and tracking, and paycheck tracking and direct deposit. Our employees can track their time, request time off, elect and track their benefits, and keep track of their paychecks in their Gusto portal. Our Operations department can update employee information, approve time, approve or deny time off requests, etc.

The main reason I gave this rating is due to what I feel is poor customer service. Now, the customer service agents are nice enough but they don't seem to be very well trained or knowlegeable on the fine details of the Gusto system. My time is valuable and it's frustrating to have to spend so much time trying to get correct answers.
I think ADP has better customer service. ADP also has a more streamlined and consolidated suite of functionality. With Gusto, I find that I have to go to multiple portals in order to get the information I need. For example, it's one portal to track time and elect benefits, another portal to track HSA transactions, and another portal to track 401(k) transactions. Combine them into one easy-to-use portal!

Would you buy Gusto again?

Yes

I would give Gusto a higher rating if the customer service was improved, if the HSA deduction accounting was streamlined, if the HR reporting functionality wre improved, and if things were streamlined and consilidated better in general. There are many other options a company can use for these services so I feel that Gusto should rise to challenge and do better!
