Overall Satisfaction with Gusto
We use Gusto for our Payroll solutions and to offer benefits to the team, across the entire business (3 dental practices). Its very useful because everything we need is in one space, and we don't have to have our employees using multiple apps for their pay/benefits/HR. It's also very easy to make changes to pay/taxes and direct deposits.
Pros
- Split paychecks- easy to set up and manage
- Gusto spending account- it's awesome to have the option to have a built in savings account.
- Keeps all benefits information organized and easy for the employees to access.
- Clocking in and out is super easy
Cons
- Don't have the savings acct info on the first page of the app- I'd rather not see my account balance right off the bat.
- Kept overall costs down as we don't have to pay a traditional Payroll company for services we don't need
- We don't have to use an outside HR company to offer benefits to the employees
ADP is more for large companies who have thousands of employees and don't need to have a personalized experience. Gusto seems like it's tailored more towards small businesses
