Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

Payroll, time tracking, performance (goals, peer review, annual review), employee survey function

Pros

  • Easy to approve hours
  • Easy to conduct performance review in light of self review, peer review, and goals
  • No hiccups in functionailty

Cons

  • Frustrating for my team to not be able to log hours retroactively
  • The side-by-side view of self-review and supervisor review could be a more equal split screen
  • When I go to approve hours, the hyperlinks I ought to click versus the others available seem unituitive (ex: the person's name takes me to a view of "people" in the org, not to the timesheet I'm approving).
  • we discontinued employee surveys via Gusto b/c there was not enough customization of questions or frequency
no glitches, mostly intuitive, though the score is knocked down b/c of my feedback on proactive timesheet logging and the click sequence when approving timesheets being unintuitive.
More streamlined, less busy of a dashboard. Could log hours proactively.

I'm unsure since I'm not in HR or the executive suite. As a manager, I find it acceptable. We are an org of 25 people. I'm not sure a smaller team would find value in it.
