Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

I use Gusto to pay my employees and contractor. My bookkeeping clients also use Gusto. While I love QuickBooks Online for my bookkeeping practice, QuickBooks Payroll does not come close to Gusto's service. Gusto makes onboarding so easy and I don't have to remember to pay and file taxes, which is great.

Pros

  • Service is amazing
  • Makes payroll super easy
  • Mapping is QuickBooks is easy

Cons

  • During employee onboarding, it would be great if you could send them a link to fill out their information in Gusto versus just sending them an email reminder. My employee was having issues getting emails from Gusto to her personal email and the ability to drop a link would've been really nice.
  • Gusto has made it so easy for me to hire employees and pay them, ensuring I've collected everything I need from the employees.
Gusto is super user-friendly! Their tutorials make figuring things out, such as mapping to QuickBooks Online, very easy. It's so much more user friendly than QuickBooks Payroll. The customer service is also outstanding. If you have any questions, they're always ready to respond as quickly as possible, which is more than you can say for other payroll services.

Gusto will always be well suited when it comes to payroll needs! I know there are other payroll options out there, but Gusto is the cream of the crop, in my opinion. It integrates so well with QuickBooks Online and makes payroll mapping a breeze. Gusto is also super helpful in paying and filing taxes for clients who don't have the time or knowledge to do so, themselves.
