Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

I am a user and employee of a company that uses Gusto. Our team uses it for clocking in and out, taking our lunch breaks, time cards, paystubs, and our paychecks. In addition, we use it for scheduling paid time off, sick time off, and company holidays, and it also shares our individual benefits.

Pros

  • PTO/holidays
  • app/clock in and out
  • user friendly
  • cute pig

Cons

  • Editing lunch break on the day of
  • Loading time on app
  • Lunch breaks timer goes off on phone earlier than web browser (timer app on phone is shorter lunch and does not equal actually 30 mins)
  • Editing how long lunch is (30 mins or 1 hour)
  • PTO and Holidays - helps keep track of calendars
  • Timecards are organized and helps keep supervisors accountable
  • Easy accessible and shares information
The pig icon is cute - buttons are accessible and easy. They are clear on where to find information and you just need to play around to figure out what is happening. I appreciate Gusto having the app available for easy usage when not able to access computer.

Gusto is helpful for remote workers with flexible schedules and working when it is not a strict work environment to clock in right now.

Scenarios when it is a strict timeline to clock in and out is harder.
