Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Gusto in our organization for payroll tasks for 6 employees. It takes care of all state and federal reporting - leaving accounting staff to handle more day to day work in a timely manner. It is simple to use and allows for easy onboarding and offboarding of employees .

Usability

Very easy to use. I would give it a 10 but we aren't using the benefits integration so I'm not sure how great that is. I can only think that it would simplify things quite a bit. Gusto is a great payroll platform and our employees really like the options available to them such as early payroll -money available up to several days early, debit card deposit, etc.

Alternatives Considered

I was not involved in the decision to select Gusto, but I do know that our companies use several different platforms and this is the final one selected.

Likelihood to Recommend

Gusto is great for small office payroll. I think it would be perfect if we ran our benefits through it as well. At this time I have to use another platform for benefits and manually enter them into Gusto. That leaves room for error on my part. In our office, it is perfect for biweekly payroll and saves me a couple hours reporting time. I think it would be incredibly helpful in a large office with a mix of salaried and hourly employees.

Mobile Interface Availability and Impressions

Yes - It has a mobile employee interface but I don't think it has an interface for running payroll. I don't use the mobile employee app as the emails work for me and I check my bank app for the deposit. It would be nice to have a payroll interface for admins, but it is so easy to pop online and see the big picture - I'd rather do it that way so that I don't input incorrectly.
