Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

Gusto is the time tracking software my employer uses.

Pros

  • Time tracking

Cons

  • State by state differences - for example, Arizona provides sick time for every 30 hours worked, but we're having to manually track that since there's not a Gusto function to auto-manage
  • State changes - when an employee moves from state to state and files a new state withholding tax form, it should auto-update the state specifications (ie rate withheld, sick time, etc.)
Usually great. However when time zone failed, it was very difficult to correct and had to track time manually.
APS was more integrative with benefits like sick time auto-acruing.

Yes

Gusto is usually reliable. There were some major issues with tracking after moving to a new time zone. It's also frustrating to manually log my sick time.
