Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

We use Gusto for payroll direct deposits as well as keeping track of vacation, personal time off, and any payroll deductions associated with any of our employees. Our employees like that the Gusto app allows them to direct their deposits to go to any bank account, and in what quantities, of their choosing as well as directly to some non-profits for donation purposes.

Cons

  • Figuring out appropriate tax withholdings
  • Not all non-profits listed for donations
  • Given employees the power to manage how/where they get paid
  • Direct deposit has been an unexpectedly huge positive
The website and app are very user friendly and easy to follow along. I wish they had the ability to guide employees through the government's payroll tax worksheet, other than that, there isn't anything I'd change.
Less expensive and does just what we wanted without all the extra bells and whistles.
