Overall Satisfaction with Harvest
One of my clients uses Harvest and when I started working with them they asked me to use it to record all of my time and expenses on the projects I was working on. It solves the simple problem of tracking what time is done on what. As well as to record when expenses are incurred and on what project. Every second I spend on doing work for this client is recorded on Harvest plain and simple as it's a great solution to track what you are doing and for how long.
- Mobile app.
- Chrome extension.
- Combining time entries for the same project.
- Integrating into invoicing.
- Reducing over working.
- Prompt filing of expenses.
Harvest Chrome extension is not as refined as Toggl but it integrates expenses which is a lot better. The reporting element of it is better than Toggl as well. With Toggl you don't have to confirm submission on a week by week basis which can be a little irritating. Toggle does a better job on reminding you if you should be recording time or not but overall use of both is very good. Intuitively Toggl feels a little more responsive to start and stop timing but there is not much in it.
