Overall Satisfaction with Harvest

We used Harvest to time track hours for our customer success team. Both engineers and customer success managers used it. We found it helpful and a non-arduous way to time track (since time tracking can be the absolute worst!). Harvest is an enjoyable time tracking experience, and we'd recommend it again.

Pros

  • Easy of use
  • Intuitive
  • Integrates into other apps easily

Cons

  • At the time, it didn't integrate into Slack, but now it does.
  • Would be nice to integrate into Salesforce, not sure if it does this.
  • ROI: tracking for employee time
  • Good for reporting time tracking to customers
  • Easy for cross team reporting
I didn't investigate others.
I didn't use support, but I've heard good things about Harvest's support.

Well suited for cross-team time tracking, including engineers and customer success managers, who do very different tasks during the day. It also integrates well with Slack, which was helpful for managers in mid-level management reporting to higher-ups. Introducing it to the team was relatively painless and suffered less too.
