Overall Satisfaction with Heap

We used Heap only within the Marketing department to export contact details of our customers and segment them depending on actions done or pages visited.
  • Collect email addresses of users visiting our websites
  • Easy set up to implement
  • Segmentation setup takes long and it's not automated
  • Can only export up to a limited number of rows per spreadsheet
  • Event set up is a long process and not automated
  • Helped us target our emails more by segmenting the users.
Great tool but initial implementation is time-consuming. Once everything is set up thought, it offers a complete marketing suite.
Good for collecting PI of the users that visit your website and then exporting it into a spreadsheet. It's not so appropriate for tracking clicks, as the setup process is long.
