Overall Satisfaction with Highspot

Highspot is used in our organization for a multitude of purposes. The most meaningful to my position are the storage of documents such as marketing materials, maps, and media kits for each of our markets. This helps to keep the markets separated while allowing for a simple search to find the materials needed.

Pros

  • Search Functionality.

Cons

  • Making bookmarking more easily accessible.
  • Recommending favorites.
  • Allowing for "card" style results from search to prevent scrolling.
  • Positive: one location for marketing materials.
  • Positive: shows number of views on a presentation.
  • Positive: allows for easy sharing, minimizing downtime for sales follow ups.
It is a very intuitive website with easy navigation. I am also able to search by market name alone to get all the information that I need within that market. It is only as good as the information you place into it, but the naming conventions should be standard across the board.

When it comes to getting information about a particular market that a colleague works in, it is helpful to be able to direct them to Highspot to gather the information they need to report to the client or our partners. It is an easy one-stop shop to have all our materials in.

Using Highspot

3000 - This is a one stop shop for our media kit resources as well as kits for sales. This is used by operations and projects in order to have a location for our maps to properly inventory the areas we service. There are also photo collections that we store in Highspot as well.

Highspot is easy to use and allows for managers to offload training when it comes to determining where materials are located. It also gives the opportunity to download and distribute pertinent information in a consolidated location allowing for an easier learning curve. Highspot is a tool that allows for ease of material sharing.
