Overall Satisfaction with HireVue
HireVue is available across our division, to any and all search committees for interviewing purposes only. It allows hiring departments to conduct a more detailed and professional "first" interview (live or on-demand). We do not use HireVue for any other purposes: job postings, requisitions, resumes, etc.
Pros
- Communication with evaluators and interviewees
- Help guides and documentation
- Features and interface
Cons
- Feature request: admin users should be able to "log in as" other users. This allows more efficient troubleshooting
- As admin, ability to see what positions each user has created or is involved with
- Nearly all search committees take advantage of HireVue
- CVirtual
HireVue is more robust and is a hands-on application. Pros: allows greater customization; Cons: more opportunity for user error when setting up an interview.
CVirtual is limited to recorded interviews only, and you need to contact a representative to set it up. Pros: you're in good hands and never have to worry about setting up an interview incorrectly. Cons: none
