Overall Satisfaction with HireVue
Our talent team uses HireVue as a screening phase in our selection process. Typically this will fall after the initial resume and cover letter screen, and before the in-person interview at our home office. We've had a ton of success in raising the floor for folks that we bring in to the office and use Hirevue for nearly all of our job openings.
- The user experience is super intuitive and easy to access for members across the organization. You don't need a whole lot of training, and HireVue tees up everything you need to evaluate candidates.
- Openshare! We love being able to blast out links to multiple candidates at a time.
- Interview set up is straightforward and hardly takes any time at all.
- Interview questions! Once these are set, there's not an option to add/delete/modify questions. Instead of having to create an entirely new interview, it would be nice to have the option of adding to current interviews.
- Tracking candidates- would like to see a function to update candidate statuses
- Better use of hiring manager time
- Higher floor for candidates that we see in person
- Increased efficiency throughout the hiring process
Some other locations use VidCruiter, but we have ultimately decided to stick with HireVue due to the ease of sharing candidates across a large organization. Everyone can use HireVue, and it's so simple and effective that there's no point in us looking elsewhere.
