We use HotSchedules for all front of house staff scheduling. HotSchedules addresses employee shift swaps, pickups, time off requests.
Pros
- Customer service in regards to trouble shooting technical issues.
- Customer service for answering any questions employees or managers may have.
- Training on the use & functions of HotSchedules.
Cons
- Sometimes the HotSchedules system goes down for no apparent reason.
- The updated scheduler interface is sometimes confusing.
- The updated employee requested time off interface is more confusing and difficult to understand now than it used to be.

I always receive exceptional support from HotSchedules but the time that stands out the most was when the HotSchedules system went down and I couldn't see the roster of who was working a particular shift one day. The representative was quick and professional and provided me with the information I needed in a quick and timely manner.
