Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot

My marketing agency has been using HubSpot for a little over a year. We now use it for all of our clients. HubSpot has allowed us to replace multiple tools with one system that manages everything in one place: social media, email marketing, analytics, lead nurturing, blogging, even a robust website CMS. Because of this, we have been able to greatly simplify our processes.

Pros

  • Very user-friendly and intuitive interface -- everyone in the organization can easily learn to use
  • Workflows are great for lead nurturing, especially with the new branching feature
  • Can schedule posts to nearly all social media accounts
  • Marketing emails are easy to create and send -- much more user friendly than other programs I have used in the past

Cons

  • Would like to see more functionality added to the editorial calendar. Presently it's just a calendar where you can view everything you have scheduled, but it's not very useful as a planning tool
  • Would love to see an approval process for blogs and social for those clients who have to provide approval. Currently we are using a separate system for this.
  • Cannot schedule to or even display all social accounts (Instagram is missing)
  • More efficient reporting

I personally find HubSpot to be easier to use and to provide better functionality than most other email platforms I have used (including Constant Contact and iContact), as well as social media platforms such as HootSuite
Our agency is now solely focused on inbound marketing with HubSpot. In a short period of time, we have become a HubSpot Certified Platinum-Level partner and plan to continue our use of the software indefinitely. We consider HubSpot a marketing partner, not just a software provider. Our channel manager is always available to us and has been a tremendously helpful resource. HubSpot is also constantly rolling out updates and new features, and seems to really value user feedback.
We have been most successful using HubSpot for B2C clients, but I know some companies have been able to use it very successfully for B2B clients as well.
