Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot

Hubspot is the tool that we use to organize and coordinate our entire sales and marketing department. Our website is built on the Hubspot COS, and we implement all the tools of the Professional version. We also use the Hubspot CRM and have that integrated with our emails and inbound marketing. This collaborative system allows us to have full insight on our potential new customers, tracking what they're interested in and when they're engaging with us. Our sales and marketing department is quickly growing, and Hubspot will allow us to scale and put together a collaborative system to allow us to share leads, and keep in communication as we want to. Not only does our website address customer questions and allow us to be viewed as an industry resource, it also allows us to tap into our customer base and build more of what they want to see.
  • Fully integrated tools allow you to take a holistic view of your potential customers. You can see when they came to your site, what they are interested in, when they return, what they're doing on social media and the pages that they visited. That way, sales can be much more effective.
  • Hubspot allows us to function with less sales people. For all the work we put in, Hubspot is working on the back end to multiply our efforts.
  • The CRM and Marketing tools tie effortlessly together. I love that I don't need to record anything and all of our emails and interactions are recorded effortlessly.
  • The CRM app is great, and allows me to find phone numbers, emails and make calls while I'm out on the road.
  • I can't wait until the CRM includes the ability to record both incoming and outgoing emails from Gmail, a functionality I understand is coming soon.
  • Because the COS is updating so quickly, I have struggled with some design elements being unchangable. This isn't an issue for new customers coming on because they have updated coding from a year ago, but it has been something I've had to address.
  • Simple design features are easy to change (like changing text or pictures) but any more complicated design changes do take some COS and HubL knowledge.
  • Increased qualified leads
  • More efficient and egaged quoting process.
  • Allows us to push leads through the sales cycle and understand where they're at in the process.
  • Ability to continue building our website and knowledge base
For a one person small business, I can understand why Hubspot would be a bit unnecessary in the beginning stages. It brings in a lot of additional leads, and you need to be prepared to scale your business if you start growing too fast. For example, if you've never had a website before and you're just starting a part time business, I can see that Hubspot would be too much of an investment and might not be worthwhile.

If you are, however, looking to grow your company quickly, Hubspot is an absolute requirement. Also, Hubspot is definitely geared towards the B2B sector, and does especially well in industries that are known for outdated marketing (like manufacturing).

Using HubSpot

1 - Hubspot is very easy to use, but like any cloud tool, it helps to understand computers reasonably well. Not coding or design or anything like that, but to feel fluid and functional on a computer. Any millenial will be able to run Hubspot within the first day. Just by exploring the dashboard and the different sections, you can learn a lot about the tools, where things are located and how they all work together. No IT support is required for our team.

Design work, however, does require an experienced designers help. However, if you've got someone who knows coding, Hubspot design tools are easy enough to pick up in one day.
