Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

We use it to track our prospecting, wether that's specific people, specific companies or both. We also use it to establish contact owners for followup responsibility, plus we added a couple of custom fields (like the Linkedin profile field) to have custom data about them. We also integrated the Gmail plugin so we can track the emails we're sending, plus a Linkedin plugin to quickly add people to HubSpot CRM. We've also user Linked Helper (a Linkedin automation tool) that is also integrated with HubSpot CRM so we can send prospects from Linked Helper too

Pros

  • Search in the catalog, for people or for companies
  • Plugins for using in external tools like Gmail or Linkedin

Cons

  • Custom Fields are extremely difficult to create and use later
  • How is there not a Linkedin default field? or a "professional profile URL" default field at least?
  • Navigation inside the Person view or the Client view is super complex, is difficult to find the fields you're looking for, or the sub sections like the history of conversations, it doesnt feel intuitive
  • It helped us organize our stack of prospects
  • It helped us distribute tasks and assign owners of prospects
  • It helped us have traceability of the conversations with the prospects
  • It took us too much time to learn why there wasn't a "person profile URL" field, it's just too complicated for something such obvious
Pretty bad i'd say, the Client and Person views are extremely similar to each other, both interfaces are super busy with information and HubSpot CRM is not even designed as one of those hyper complicated products but with a super tiny UI that fits many things together (like stock market and trading platforms) but rather it's kind of an inbetween, between trying to look easy to use but then throwing tons of info in both views which, in my opinion, makes it un-consumable
We haven't tried anything else so far, before using HubSpot CRM we used Excel sheets which is not a direct competitor. But i'd say in some aspects it was fairly easier to come up with a custom "data point" we wanted to record, whereas in HubSpot CRM is a very difficult process

Do you think HubSpot CRM delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with HubSpot CRM's feature set?

No

Did HubSpot CRM live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of HubSpot CRM go as expected?

No

Would you buy HubSpot CRM again?

No

We have been using a basic version with not so many features, but in general it's a good CRM if you want to go a bit beyond the basics, it's comprehensive but it's complex at the same time (comparing for example Jira vs Trello, HubSpot CRM is kind of in between, it's not really simple, and it's not amazingly complex either).
