  • Zoho CRM and Freshworks CRM (formerly Freshsales)
In terms of functionality and the features that are available, HuSpot CRM is way ahead of Zoho and Freshworks. Our team has evaluated multiple CRM's before finalizing on HubSpot because of the integrations it offers and the automation features that were unmatched. Also, it was much easier to replace multiple tools that we were using into one single software - HubSpot.

I did not have any type of decision making process in approving which CRM we used, when I came on board they were already using Hubspot. I was very vocal from the beginning about how I liked the CRM and how I felt it elevated my skill set because of its ease of use I was able to spend training learning our specific industry not spending time how to use the CRM.

I did not personally select Hubspot over Zoho. I was using Zoho in my previous job. Now, we use HubSpot in my new company. HubSpot is more comprehensive when compared with Zoho; it offers more integration, and more room for customization (in terms of prospect profiles). With Zoho, I was just seeing the notes about the users, if their payment is due if they canceled their subscriptions. But with HubSpot CRM it is possible to track everything we need in an easy way. I never join demos with prospects without checking their HubSpot profiles. It is a must for me.

Depending on the client and what I am doing, determine whether I recommend Hubspot or ActiveCampaign. ActiveCampaign has very similar Customer Experience Automation at a fraction of the cost. The UX isn't as good and it doesn't log emails per contact (only on deals), but it is a great tool. However, for an enterprise solution, Hubspot is certainly the way to go.
