Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM
We use HubSpot CRM as our main CRM for Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing. I focus on the Customer Success use case, where we are looking to have a holistic database that captures all of our customer interactions, and proactively provides insights that drive thoughtful engagement with our existing customer base.
Pros
- Tracking deals with customizable fields
- Integrating with google calendar and email
- Task management and automated task workflows
Cons
- Integrations with other providers like PostHog for usage data has been clunky
- Ability to run reports across various fields can be cumbersome
- Getting curated lists of contacts and customers is manual
- Improved visibility into pipeline and clear forecasting; saved 3 deals from falling through the cracks
- Improved tracking for marketing outreach resulting in higher click rates
- Slow learning curve for getting team up to speed on maximizing usefulness
HubSpot CRM feels more economical that Salesforce, but both products have the same issue of seemingly requiring a full time person (or people) to set up and maintain the CRM. Both platforms are very powerful but end up being a major draw on resources to build team patterns to make the database useful.
