Overall Satisfaction with IBM Robotic Process Automation

We use it to automate repetitive tasks we usually did with Excel, mainly related to procure to pay and HR processes. A good example is the invoice data to be inserted through our Internet banking or the employees' timesheet to be validated with the payroll. We use RPA instead of developing an integration because in this way the end users are autonomous in the automation creation.
  • Invoice Data Insertion on ERP
  • Timesheet integration with Payroll
  • Account Controlling Data check
  • If/then cycles are missing
  • Low code platform
  • Third parties integration on the shelf
  • 10 man day per month saved on p2p
  • 2 man day per month saved on timesheet management
On the two main automations (invoices and timesheet), we saved around 50 hours per month, so in the last year, that's 600 hours.
We selected IBM Robotic Process Automation because it was offered at a more affordable price compared with AA and UiPath.

Do you think IBM Robotic Process Automation delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with IBM Robotic Process Automation's feature set?

Yes

Did IBM Robotic Process Automation live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of IBM Robotic Process Automation go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy IBM Robotic Process Automation again?

Yes

All the scenarios that include OCR data capture are a good fit since IBM Robotic Process Automation is working very well with the images. On the other hand, if there is automation to be done with some complex iteration that includes if/then statements some issues can be faced since they are not supported and you need a workaround to complete the automation.
