Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Ads (Sponsored Jobs)
Pros
- ease of the algorithm
- ease of job creation
Cons
- pricing
- ability to automate process
- negative roi
- pay by click or by applicant, either way it is too expensive.
We currently use ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn Jobs, and the free job ad services on Indeed. We do this do to the expense of Indeed Ads (Sponsored Jobs) and the low return on investment. We have seen significant improvements by learning how the algorithm places job ads without cost and using our own applicant tracking system to automate the process.

Evaluating Indeed Ads (Sponsored Jobs) and Competitors
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
We looked for a way to contact the most candidates while being able to easily filter and track applications and candidate status. This system easily provided those features but ultimately we decided to pursue more economical avenues.
We would consider the financial impact at the height of recruiting needs. Additionally we would factor in the financial impact long term, month after month, year after year, as we found that in one year alone we spent more than an average full time salary on sponsored ads.
