Overall Satisfaction with Indeed.com

Indeed.com is being used by our entire organization. We are using it for hiring new employees and finding prospects. The accounting department, buying department, marketing department have been posting jobs and reviewing applicants from Indeed frequently for jobs posted. Our teams are small and have limited time and resources, that is why Indeed is a great option for our business. The startup mentally starts with using technology to leverage our needs versus man power and that is why Indeed is very valuable for us.

Pros

  • Easy to post positions.
  • Easy to get applicants.

Cons

  • Can look and feel redundant.
  • It is just a simple job search engine.
  • We have hired great employees with Indeed.
  • We have got lots of bad applicants on Indeed.
Indeed is far and above the best in its space! I have used others like ZipRecruiter and Monster, etc. but Indeed tends to be where we get the most applicants, we use that pool to do our interviews and then ultimately hire from our applicants from Indeed. The functionality is easy, the platform is simple and there are just no frills with Indeed.
I give Indeed at 9/10 because no one ever deserves 10/10 - there is always something a business can improve upon and that goes for people too! Ultimately, I am very satisfied with Indeed! The customer service is great, the recruiters are professional and getting applicants is easy to do. Taking the time to weed through the good and bad is just a part of hiring! We will continue to use Indeed because it makes hiring easy.

Indeed is clearly the best job board and job search engine at the current time and place. They are functional over 60 countries and demand the space from all in the job search business. It is best suited for big businesses because it has great reach to prospective applicants, Indeed gets the most organic traffic and paid traffic. If a company needs to hire an employee quickly, I would use Indeed over any other job board online.
