Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Hiring Platform

Human Resources utilizes Indeed for a large part of our hiring process. We use it to track and organize candidates, post jobs, and evaluate candidates for their qualifications for the open roles we have at the company. We also utilize the resume sourcing that Indeed provided sometimes, which helps us find candidates.

Indeed was in place at my company prior to my arrival. I evaluated other systems to compare against Indeed, and for our company’s needs, the free offerings through Indeed Hiring are the best value. We would not consider Jobvite, and the other systems would be a more traditional ATS, which doesn’t fit with our company’s volume and needs.

Job posting - and by extension, hiring - is highly expedited through Indeed. We can have confidence that our postings will be seen by the highest amount of candidates, and we can track the viewing traffic we’ve received and make adjustments as needed. This helps expedite our hiring process significantly, and in a way I can’t guarantee we would find in other systems.
I wouldn’t say Indeed has necessarily increased the quality of our candidates, but it has definitely increased the quantity of our candidate pool. We receive more applicants through Indeed’s Hiring Platform than any other system we utilize, which does lead to us eventually finding the right fit candidate for the position.
Indeed is perfect for a smaller company like mine as a replacement for an ATS. We can track our candidates with relative ease. I could see it not necessarily being a good fit for a larger company with more requisitions and candidates to keep track of, but perhaps with the paid features, this could be improved.
