Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

The Insightly software is being used by our whole organization. We are a relatively small business with less than 10 employees and we all utilize the platform. We use it to help us maintain out contacts and develop out "lead" pipeline with notes and comments about our customer interactions. We needed a structure to help us organize our client base as well as our business suppliers/partners.

Pros

  • Task creation: The ability to create and assign tasks for our team has been very useful.
  • Integration with GMAIL, we use Gmail for some of our business solutions (Calendar, email, etc). It's very easy.
  • Again, the ability to leave detailed accounts of our contacts and leads. Specifically the pipeline, we can assign deadlines and points of progression to move a task forward.

Cons

  • If you utilize Insightly for more than one organization, it would be nice if there was a convenient location to swap between the sessions.
  • Maybe some integration with Slack or some other chat platform.
  • Maybe a sync feature with work email?
We look at this on a list but did not give it too much consideration.
I think it is well suited for small businesses on a limited budget. Maybe not so much for a larger organization with more proprietary needs.

Using Insightly

2 - They are our financial advisors who are assigned clients via the Insighltly platform. We use it to remain abreast of meetings without clients, celebrate significant dates, and as storage for emails and other significant communications. We also use this for storing attachments and keeping lists of prospecting targets, partners, and vendors. Lastly, we use it with our Zapier integrations to trigger mailing campaigns.
We don't have any technicians to support our team with Insightly. Each agent uses the platform and seeks out support directly from Insightly.

  • We value the list creation of prospects, partners, and vendors.
  • Storage of social media contacts
  • Connecting the relationships between persons and organizations
  • We plan to send email contacts and campaigns directly
  • Explore further integration with other apps to simplify workflows.
Insightly does its job, this is the second company that I have used this app, and it continues to be great. It would be better but, there are some small tweaks to give it the additional 2 points. Also, the ease at which we can get started without incurring a heavy expense. This is great for organizations that need to get started.
