A feature packed CRM for small businesses (& smaller teams)
Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
The product was used in our Marketing & Sales team to manage lead data, prospect information and do sales forecasting as well as pipeline management. For us visibility into the fiscal quarter was important and lack of a tool like Insightly posed a problem. Therefore we decided to use it as it has all the necessary features we wanted.
Pros
- Seamless management of Marketing and Sales process
- Integration with MailChimp
- Dashboards allow you to take knowledge based actions
- Cross-functional team communication is smooth
Cons
- It needs a visual overhaul as user experience can sometimes be affected due to outdated design
- Limitations around restricting access to certain parts of the application to unrelated users
- The calendar is buggy at most of the times as it does not pick information based on meetings and calls scheduled outside of Insightly
- Our turnaround time for lead to customer process was shortened by almost 10 days in a 6 weeks sales cycle
- Issue of deadlines being missed due to improper documentation of communication was totally eradicated
- Marketing & Sales were able to know where to do what and who to reach out depending upon the prospect, customer stage(s)
