Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

We are a building Surveying company which is an industry lacking in management software solutions. Insightly, with its customisable nature, has allowed us to mould a system into place which helps us effectively manage our staff, service delivery, accounts and document controls.
Brian has been of specific help with developing our databases to be effective and user friendly. He has taken lots of time to meet with us, scope out our challenges and have them addressed.

Pros

  • API automations making this efficient
  • Custom Objects allow us to tailor things to our needs

Cons

  • The time sheet function currently is not helpful to how our company would need it. We have given feedback to Brian in the mean time.
  • The time spent on activities has been reduced dramatically due to the automations
  • Dashboards help us to track financials more effectively and address areas of concern.
  • The entire database has helped us retain our ISO 9001 accreditation for our quality management system.
The system is great and the customisability of the system is the reason we chose it. We have been able to build additional objects for invoices, buildings and more which helps us manage our portfolios.
The pipelines, categories, workflow automations and page-layout rules have helped us to keep our staff on the right track when completing their jobs. Usually it is easy to be distracted with information that is not relevant to the specific service, but with all of these specific features we are able to guide the surveyors more effectively.
I have forgotten the names of the softwares because we did the scoping over a year ago, but insightly was the best by far for our needs. The other two were focused on a different side of property services and had a lot of features that were not applicable. Without insightly, we would still be living in the paper-age.
