Overall Satisfaction with Iterable
We use Iterable to re-engage our users with our website content. It's one of our main marketing channels that drives site traffic for our editorial content, and purchases to our ecomm shop. With Iterable, we have created multiple journeys to welcome a subscriber to our brand, capture data such as demographics, and provide feedback to our team on what content is most engaging to our audiences.
Pros
- Easy to use UI
- Journey building
- Segmentation
Cons
- Campaign prioritization
- Deliverability support
- Downloadable heatmap visual
- Positive impact to total sales, we are on track to be +20% in total email sales this year due to new automated campaigns
- Positive impact to site sessions (email is 1.7% of total)
- Relatively low margin overall (1.66:1 ROAS)
Iterable provides all basic email capabilities that we need, including A/B testing, reporting, segmentation and APIs. Iterable's SMS has a few limitations, such as 2-way conversations and a limited reporting UI. We've been able to successfully segment and test campaigns quickly, while it has been difficult to share reports quickly out of the UI (like heatmaps).
Though we only utilize Iterable email, we've had difficulty in locating where and when people are disengaging with our content. We want to be able to identify "about to churn" users, but at the moment we are trying to do this manually with engagement logic.
Attentive provides robust reporting, AI recommendations, full-service SMS support, and insights. They also support features like 2-way messaging, immediate replies, and on-site modals.
