Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

We were able to import our users into KnowBe4 with a CSV. We use Google G-Suite, and instructions were provided that showed us how we could import and edit users in the KnowBe4 platform. Also, excellent customer support was available for a call or email if we ran into any issues.
Our entire organization is using KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training. We have set up our initial baseline performance and training, with a focus on phishing attacks in the office. We currently have an ongoing phishing test that all our employees use to help keep them on top of things. Also, should one of our employees fall for the training phishing email, they are directed to take additional training on spotting suspicious emails.
  • Customer support has been exemplary.
  • Fake phishing emails are handy and do use real-life examples.
  • Some of the training modules are tedious and dated.
  • Much of the content seems to be tailored to Europeans, with phishing tests ending on .co.uk and similar.
  • KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training allows us to demonstrate, with actual data, how our team is trained and monitored with security vulnerabilities.
  • The large catalog of training saves us time in finding specific training for incidents or potential incidents.
I have not evaluated other training platforms in the same manner as I have in KnowBe4 Security Awareness Traning, but I have been the recipient of similar training from different vendors. One thing that KnowBe4 talks about is the influence of their Chief hacking Officer, Kevin Mitnick. Due to his history of using social engineering and tools similar to what KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training tests, his experience in what he looks for in finding weaknesses is evident in training presented.
One of the best parts of KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is the support we have received during the initial setup, the start of our campaigns, and the ongoing check-ins with the team. Great support personnel can gloss over even the most annoying software feature or lack thereof. While KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is a good training system, support received is what has elevated this review to a 10/10.

Having fresh training content is vital to cover changes in technology and how attackers can operate. Additionally, employees do not respond well to content that is dated and seems obsolete. So, when new training that is well produced is available, it helps get the message from the training across. Additionally, multiple content publishers allow us to pick the training that may be more technical or less technical, depending on the audience. There are also cases that we wish to repeat training but do not want to use the same training content. This is a great reason to grab another publisher's version of the training.
Our organization is most interested in demonstrating that all our employees, who have access to any personal health information or personal identification information, are adequately trained and tested regularly. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training assigns a score to each user based on their activity with training and with how they respond to tests. This is a quick way to get this information and allows us to dig in if there is something out of the ordinary.
For the price, especially, this is a good platform that helps train employees about various security vulnerabilities. There is even a method to load USB drives with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training software to alert the software when the USB device is inserted into a computer. This helps identify the users who are more likely to pick up a random USB device and plug it in, "just to see what is on it."
