Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

All faculty and staff at our school are provided annual security awareness training that varies by year. In addition, we run phishing simulations every few months to help reinforce the training components and heighten awareness. Overall, we have been very happy with the increase in awareness the training has engendered across our organization.

  • General overview videos can feel light on content for advanced users
  • Some video scenarios need better writing/acting
  • Ending quizzes occasionally use terms unfamilar to users
  • With regular training and phishing assessments our dashboard reports our users are over 20% more aware than our general industry!
  • We have had a significant reduction in the number of casual breaches on campus since using KnowBe4

Fresh content and content from different publishers would be very much welcomed by our end users. Some of the existing content can feel repetitive, so having access to another library, even if it targets the same content, is very helpful. I would love to see this capability extended even further.
KnowBe4 links to Google SSO, so our users can easily log in and run through their training.
The Dashboard is very helpful to grab a snapshot of our organizational risk and compare it to the industry average. We also track the phishing scores for our organization and our industry across time and report the shift to senior management. We also reference the user report cards to target users who need specific remediation.
The baseline security awareness videos and popcorn videos are excellent to raise general awareness. KnowBe4 does have a breadth of video topics, but some of the content feels very similar in style and after a few cycles our end users tell us it feels repetitive. We would love to see an adaptive training scenario where users self-test to a variety of content and avoid repetition on content they already are familiar with.
