We conduct security training more frequently than most companies. It is important to have as much variety as possible in the content. It is also important to have a large quantity of training so that we don't run out of useful information. We have had fresh content with KnowBe4 for three years.
For our initial setup, we imported the existing employees using a CSV file. New hires are added manually, but each new user is automatically added to a smart group and assigned some core training modules.
The most important metric is making sure that 100% of our employees complete all training assigned to them. It is crucial because security certifications like SOC2 and GDPR require it.
Other metrics we follow closely are the Phishing test responses. It helps to identify those who need more training as well as what kinds of phishing attempts we are most vulnerable to.
