Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We used it for two reasons, as a phishing test platform and as an annual required security training. The phishing test platform worked very well, once we got it configured properly. If users clicked on a test phishing email, they were required to go through extra security training. Our users became pretty savy about how to spot a fake email, so the number of phishing fails went down. The other reason we used this was for mandatory annual security training. Our cyber insurance provider gave us lower premiums because of this training. The State of Ohio also passed a law that provided limited immunity if your users were trained and you still experienced a breach.

- Provides short (around 15 minutes) training sessions so users don't have to take a lot of time out of their day to finish
- Allows for the administrator to 'customize' or brand the training to their company's brand
- Make it easier to use their products by not having to whitelist their servers
- better reporting for managers who aren't administrators of the product
- better email follow ups or the ability to configure more
- lower cyber insurance costs by around 25%
- lower help desk involvement because of few phishing tickets
- Limited immunity from the State of Ohio in case of a cyber breach
Microsoft's training offering is not as extensive as KnowBe4's. KnowBe4's interface is very easy to use if you're an administrator.

It made it easier to sell to upper management. It also didn't let the users lose interest as the new content made them have to think about the situation and not automatically anticipate the answer.
