Overall Satisfaction with Lever

Lever is being used across the whole organization to track employee referral candidates. Being in hyper growth, we are actively recruiting and hiring over 300 people in 2021. Because of this, the entire organization shares the task to find and recruit the talent. Lever makes it easy for current employees to get their contacts in the system for interviews.
  • Lever makes it very simple to track referrals
  • Understanding where a referral is at within the interview process is very clear
  • Easy to refer a friend
  • I wish there was a way for our team to add feedback on why a candidate wasn't hired. It often puts us in a weird spot when someone doesn't get hired and we have to manage that relationship later on and try to explain why they got passed up.
  • It doesn't feel very robust in what you can do--you log in, there's a list of people, you refer someone. It feels like there could be a better way to continue to help the hiring team along the way.
  • Would be great to get notifications along the way as well--candidate progressed to next step, etc.
  • Lever has helped us grow more than 30% year over year for multiple years
  • We've been able to effectively scale all teams
  • I've referred a few people and due to Lever's tracking ability, I got a new-hire bonus
I wasn't part of the evaluation process but it seems like Lever was selected due to its simplicity and ability for employees to easily refer their friends to work here. As mentioned, I wish there was more collaboration involved throughout the hiring process--could be something we look for in a replacement if we were ever looking!

I feel like it gets the job done--allowing employees at scale to refer their friends, get them in the system, and track their progress. If a company is in hyper growth mode and the recruiting team is needing some help/wanting to open up the talent pool, Lever gets the job done!
