Overall Satisfaction with LinkedIn Sales Navigator

LinkedIn Sales Navigator offers an effective medium for nurturing my sales pipeline, prospective companies/contacts, etc. The level of detail and ability to specify key demographics and company specifics allow me to fine-tune my search, hitting on only the companies and individuals that make up my dedicated profile.

Additionally, the ability to connect and communicate with key decision makers offers a fresh change of pace from standard phone call and email approaches. Anti-spam laws are also helping to push people towards social-selling initiatives, where LinkedIn Sales Navigator offers an up-to-date means of communicating.
  • Prospecting and lead generation. By fine-tuning searches to only hit on particular companies and contacts based on your specific profile, users can effectively create up-to-date lists of companies and contacts, offering quick and effective means to connect and communicate with them.
  • Opens the door to social selling revenue streams by providing an additional medium, thus, not handcuffing your pipeline to specific channels.
  • Effective for expansion of networks, allowing social media content to be shared and viewed with much larger audiences. With easy linking back to my personal profile, I can build rapport and trust with ease compared to traditional models and approaches to reaching key personnel.
  • The pricing is a bit too high, in my personal opinion. Though a heavy user is likely to get their money's worth, light-medium usage leaves the pricing model as more of a luxurious purchase.
  • The number of InMail messages is a bit low: again, in my opinion. This is one of the features that draws people to the premium packages, though even at the Sales Navigator level, those InMail messages can be used quite quickly.
  • Either more package options, or the ability to pick and choose certain features/functions for a personalized package would help users with getting their feet wet. Considering the price point for what there is, it can be tough to justify the purchase; a custom approach like this can offer more flexibility.
  • Increased efficiency. Another channel/medium for being able to identify leads/opportunities, connect with key decision makers, as well as communicate with those key personnel.
  • Considering how much of the selling in today's world is done on social media platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator helps users keep up with the times by having an up-to-date, effective tool in their tool belt.
  • A more connected world for users. Though 7 degrees of separation used to be the norm, leveraging tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator truly open up the world and place it at your fingertips. Networks can grow substantially, and so too can the messages and stories being told and shared.

The functionality of platforms like Twitter and Instagram are simply too focused on personal use and user experience, as opposed to an actual business tool, created to help drive real results for businesses and the professionals that represent them.
