Sales Navigator is our social selling tool of choice. The advanced database search makes it easy to locate contacts and connect with them. Sales Navigator is one of the premier prospecting tools available on the market. It solves verification of our contacts to pre-qualify them for our services. Sales Navigator is only used by our business development department.
  • Advanced search capability to find prospects.
  • The insights of your content activity.
  • The ability to send Inmails to out-of-network contacts.
  • The software connectivity isn't always reliable.
  • The notifications you receive often lag and still show once you've addressed the notification.
  • The pricing is a bit high and geared more toward teams and does not cater to single end-users.
  • Positive - It is our hub for prospect intelligence gathering. The value is significant.
  • Positive - The acquisition of LinkedIn by Microsoft has proven to be a beneficial deal for feature rollout.
  • Positive - Growing your network with Sales Navigator is much easier to do than with a standard LI account.
There really isn't solid comparison with another product to Sales Navigator, because it is on an island by itself.
Sales Navigator is best used for prospecting and building your professional brand. Less appropriate for CRM types of tasks and pipeline management.
