Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Central

LogMeIn is being used throughout the whole company for deploying Antivirus and Windows updates. It comes in handy when I need to remote into a users computer at any given time without issue. Its a great program and would recommend to any new user.

  • Take full control of any workstation
  • Identify any threats on the network
  • Cost was a huge factor
  • Inventory report was a big seller to the program!
The platform overall in the portal page is very user friendly. I am able to see all the necessary options I want to use specifically. I am able to view the details of every workstation, monitor any necessity needs as necessary, and navigate to any workstation quickly. I do like a feature called, "Ad Hoc Support". This feature has worked out well for some of my end-users that don't have LogMeIn installed and need immediate support. Understanding this feature is only good for 24 hours, however, I wish LogMeIn gave the option to link the Ad Hoc machine to your account. Otherwise, I have to run this session every time and can be annoying.
It's always available, especially when using the client, or if there is a specific feature in the portal page. Sometimes the web portal "hangs" and can lose connection to the LogMeIn server and logs me out or times out. If I am in need of something within a timely manner and this happens, it can be rather frustrating. I do my best to get around these critical errors.
Kaseya was too complicated and not user friendly, basically for enterprise corporations.
TeamViewer I'd have to say had an excellent user interface but had a bad inventory report in excel (not nearly as organized as LogMeIn)
LogMeIn topped off everything, by making all the interfaces easily accessible for my needs, and able to navigate what I need within a timely manner.

I use LogMeIn mainly for remote access, that is the main reason why I chose this application, hence I've used the program before. Also for Windows and anti-virus updates as well. Currently or organization is using a different antivirus program and would like to slowly migrate to the LogMeIn AV. One great feature LogMeIn has is it recognizes other AV's applications, and currently, we are using Sophos. I am still able to track and update the AV software on all workstations at this time.
