Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Rescue

We use for quick remote support for ad-hoc customers. It enables us to get access quickly without any specific IT knowledge at the remote end.

Pros

  • Quick
  • Easy to remember the logmein123 website address

Cons

  • An updated user interface. Its a little dated.
  • Easier updating of branding
  • Recently the executable changed its MD5 hash and was detected by our security provider as malicious and had to be excluded prior to LogMeIn Rescue updating.
Most end users find the instructions easy.

Where touch screen only can be more tricky.
I have never actually changed default branding. Some quick instructions would probably encourage me to do this.

LogMeIn Rescue is great for getting access to a shared device. Easy quick simple instructions can get pretty much any user to get a tech logged on.
