Overall Satisfaction with LumApps

We use LumApps to create our intranet and knowledge base. We had a lot of great content/knowledge that was missing because we didn’t have a specific place to find those content. LumApps helped us give the structure to organize this content and also, work together with a better view of how to do it in an effective way.
  • Integrations with other sources (Okta, Google, Zendesk, Salesforce)
  • A lot of possibilities to create a good template for the content that we want to share
  • A community feature, so people can interact about some topics in common.
  • Backups and bulk content (import , export and update)
  • Roles and groups more easily to use
  • More granularity about what permission a viewer use can have, a writer, an administrator, and so on.
  • People know where to find things that they need
  • Possibility to connect with other people to talk about a topic using the community feature
  • Organize content to be easy to find using metadata and tags.
LumApps has a lot of things to improve on it still. Like accessibility, be more user friendly, have a better experience for content creators. On the other side, once the person has trained about how to update their content it’s easy to put the content in your right place.
We don’t use the integrations much, we only use the user directory for now, but we have plans to explore it more.
It was not flexible enough for us and the granularity of permissions doesn’t attend us. Its a good tool but for simple sharing content.

Share news and organizational communications. The auto-translate feature helps to have the content available without doing a lot of manual translations. It solves our big problem that was “how to share great and relevant content to the entire organization”.

Question and bug support are very helpful and quick. About the feature requests, we don’t have much visibility of the features that we suggested, or If they are going to implement some solutions or not.

Yes - Sometimes yes and sometimes it takes a lot of time to have a response or we don’t receive any (especially for more complex issues).
Andrew is very supportive, quickly answers tickets, is very helpful, and gives us a transparent view about the entire process until the issue is solved.
